... Lee Ann . . . Once again your photos have a way of transporting us to places familiar or brand new. In this case, I was taken back 28 years to a beautful day in Edinburgh. I pushed Laurie in her wheelchair the full length of the Royal Mile, stopping at the Old Calton Burial Ground to see the memorial to Scottish American soldiers who died in the Civil War . . .the imposing statue of Abraham Lincoln freeing a slave. |
