To begin with, I was terrified that I would either crash or run into someone (there was a close call with a lady on the road). By the end of the afternoon I was zipping down the road with the wind in my hair...sheep and cows flying by. I'd forgotten how fun it is...with no traffic to freak me out I was able to relax a bit. I've also been participating in staff sings at the Abbey...music being something I really wanted to get involved with again. I'd love to borrow a violin at some point too. I miss playing. I've been here for a little over two weeks and feeling very involved. I really appreciate that. I usually sort of hang back and scope things out beforehand...but Iona sort of sweeps you up and carries you along before you realize it. ![]() I Chose the "Edinburgh" Bike ![]() Riding Past This is Quite Nice ![]() Watching and listening to these magnificent creatures munch on grass is such a blessing ![]() View from one of the gardens on the island XO
